Not far from my house sits a park with this tree. It used to be an ole stump, but Keith Carroll had other ideas. With funding from a grief stricken family, he used it to create something others would cherish.
I pass the sculpture almost daily...on the way to the doctor or sauna. I always look, but seldom stop...at least not 'til today when I made a special trip just to visit.
It was my first "outing" in almost a year...by myself, walking, just me and the camera.
Everything looked so pretty.
The weathered picnic table...
The flowers...
The birds...
The beat up parking sign...
"There's beauty in everything. You can start over." It all seemed to say.
