"Don't make it mean anything." That's what I'm telling myself after looking over today's blood results. While I FEEL better, the labs tell another story:
- Raised White Blood Cell Count
- Elevated Hematocrit, MCV, Neutrophils, C4a levels
- GROWING viral loads -- specifically HHV 6 and M Pneumoniae (three times higher than last time)
- Positive for MTHFR gene mutation A1298C (two copies...which means I inherited it from both my Mom and my Dad)
The blood...I can justify. Ivermectin can raise WBC counts. The increase in viruses and the gene mutation? THAT concerns me.
To help with the viruses, today I started UVBI therapy--a process where they extract your blood, treat it with ultraviolet light, then put it back into your body.
The mutation thing? I'm not sure what we are going to do about that. It seems like a straight forward treatment of daily baby aspirin, prescription vitamins, folate, and B-12 injections, but it does bring up additional concerns about having kids, genetic testing, cardiovascular heath, laughing gas, etc.
A bit of good news? Still feeling well (6 days in a row...my record is 7). Also, my CD57 labs are now within normal range (used to be over the moon high).
