Sometimes things get altered in your life, not because you plan them, but because they are altered for you. A trip to the grocery store turns into an unplanned fender bender. A knock on the door tells you you've won the lottery. And, so on and so forth.
Today, I had such an alteration, when my husband returned from the post office. Because we have a marketing/coaching company, we often get promotional mail so I didn't think much of it when I saw a package from Cafe Press. But, when I opened the envelope, I was a little confused. "What is THIS?!?!?" I said, laughing and holding it out for Angel's inspection.
"I don't know," he answered, shaking his head.
Quickly, my mind raced to all of the people I'd seen recently. "Did I yell at someone to hurry up so I could go to the bathroom? Did I drive someone and they had to go to the bathroom?" I wondered.
As I dug further into the packaging, I found the answer in a sweet note from my former boss.
OMG. I literally laughed 'til I cried. I don't know if he sent it because it's just plain funny or if he sent it because he read my lovely post about altering where I crap (a must for any reader's list). At any rate, job well-done Greg. Thanks for always knowing how to make me smile.
Altered Today: Feeling loved and appreciated, my outlook for the day, smile.
