I love to tweak things. A little nudge there. A little splash here. It helps me add my own creative touch. The problem is... sometimes it's just plain overkill.
Case in point, the journal pictured...which in truth will probably go to another Tweaker. Second case in point, any poor, unsuspecting collaborator who's ever heard me utter the words "Can we just try this?"
I laugh at fellow tweakers on Project Runway. A beautiful, simple scarf turns into the equivalent of a baby's mobile. A fancy dress turns into a pop-up tent.
I can hear Tim Gunn 's voice in my head right now: "Kathy, you're fabulous. You just need to edit." So, today, with a watchful eye, I will do just that.
I, Kathy Tagudin, promise today to leave well enough alone. I will stop rearranging furniture, featured listings, web layouts, the living room, on line posts, and art projects. I will create something simple and see where it takes me. Again, I will...(Oops. Was just starting to tweak again).
