294. There is no day 294. I'm not ignoring it. The truth? Sometimes, it's just easier NOT to say something.
On Tuesday, I had a migraine. Not a full-out, land you flat-on-your-back headache. More like a dark cloud with thunder lingering in the distance..."I'm coming for you. I'm going to make your life miserable" sort of thing.
Sans a trip to Whole Foods to get a massage and admire previously mentioned adorable Asian baby, it kept me inside. Yesterday, it was beginning to lift, but I stayed in bed most of the day trying to feel better.
Since then, there've been detox baths, steam showers, appointments, naps, sniffing peppermint oils, green drinks, a haunted house, and new strange symptoms. "What the heck's this???" I said, noticing my leg in the shower.
Dots. Tons of red dots and streak marks. No. I didn't scratch myself (although it looks like it). They just came...out of nowhere.
FYI: I've heard of red pin prick dots showing up on Babesia patients (something I've been told I have). I've also heard of streaks or cat scratch like marks showing up on Bartonella patients (something I've been told I DON'T have), but never both: red dots in a streak. WOW!!!
It's been an action packed couple of days--full of surprises.
Altered the last 48 hours: Symptoms, Enjoyment
PS Last night, I went to a haunted house...an actual haunted house (too much to experience and blog about in the same day). Granted, I was in a wheelchair and being pushed around, but I tolerated the crowds, noise, being frightened, and almost everything without issue (except the lights...which I was able to block with my hoodie). I'm so sore and tired today, but I had a great time (even with a headache). One step up. Two steps back. Three steps up...
Can't wait to see what happens next.
