Within the past couple of weeks, I've lost about 10 pounds. Part of this has come as a result of tracking what I eat. Most of it has come from making healthier choices about what is going into my body.
The biggest alteration I've made is I now eat a protein with carbs at every meal (especially for breakfast). The other big alteration is I am eating WAY more often.
A typical meal often looks like:
-4 oz protein
And my favorite snacks now are:
-Apples with Baby Bell Cheese and Flax Crackers
-Frozen Bananas coated with Wheat Germ and Dark Chocolate
-Hummus and Red Pepper Strips
-Steel Cut Oats
-Greek Yogurt w/Raw Honey and Wheat Germ
-Popcorn popped in Coconut Oil
I really thought I'd miss the bread, cold cereal, and sweet tea, but as my habits have changed so have my taste buds.
